Leupold Base Shim Long

Leupold provides mounting shims to help users correct for poorly aligned barrels/receivers. These can be placed inbetween a rifles receiver and the scope base/mount to help alleviate a misalignment, resulting in more upward or downward travel. If you are running out of down travel and needing to further move your point of impact down, place a mounting shim in between your rifle’s receiver and the front base. If you are needing more upward travel to move your point of impact up, place a mounting shim under your rear scope mount. In some cases where a gross misalignment is present, two shims may be used.
